The NCCF – Your Gift to the Future
Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) staff often answers the question “exactly what is the function of NCCF?” The answer typically includes information about NCCF endowment funds and their value to the community. We often wonder if the listener understands the explanation of what endowment funds are and how these funds benefit the community.
NCCF Grants – Working in Your Community
Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) is once again preparing for its yearly grant programs. The question often raised during this time of year is “where does the money for grants come from?” The best explanation starts with the NCCF mission “to enhance the area in which we live and work” which is achieved in two distinctly different ways. The first is to assist donors in fulfilling their philanthropic goals. The second is to assist local nonprofits achieve their goals by providing financial assistance through grant dollars. The two merge together to achieve the mission as donor dollars provide the money to support nonprofit grants. The NCCF currently operates three separate grant programs.
