NCCF announces deadline for second round of 2010 Community Grants
Thursday, July 15, 2010

Dunkirk, N.Y. (July 15, 2010) – The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) will be accepting “Letters of Interest” to their Community Benefit Grant program until Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 4 p.m.

Letters of interest should include: a brief project description, the estimated number of people to be impacted and the amount of funding requested.

Letters should not exceed 2 pages and electronic submission is encouraged.

After the Grants Committee reviews each Letter of Interest, selected organizations will be asked to submit a full application. NCCF expects the Fall 2010 grants process to be particularly competitive. In addition, funding is limited. As a result, priority will be given to applications that address immediate and essential community needs and projects with the greatest community impact.

Twice a year (March and September), the NCCF will consider grant proposals from non-profit organizations that serve the community. Eligible applicants must be IRS designated 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. The awards are made possible due to the many generous donors who have established Community Benefit Funds at the NCCF.

A complete 2010 funding timeline can be found on the NCCF website here>>
