Terence J. Centner Agricultural & Environmental 4-H Scholarship

Donate to the Centner Agricultural & Environmental 4-H Scholarship

This fund is established by Terence J. Centner in memory of his parents, Harry E. and Mary Ellen Centner.  Each scholarship will honor his parent’s dedication and hard work on their family farm in the Town of Dunkirk and their leadership activities in the Chautauqua County 4-H Program.  The fund will provide monies to select high school seniors accepted at a 4-year college or university who have been a 4-Her for 3 years with an outstanding agricultural or environmental project.  An outstanding agricultural or environmental project may involve gardening, horticulture, raising food animals, conservation, forestry, environmental activities or other related projects.  The recipient must be graduating from one of the following high schools:  Dunkirk, Fredonia, Brocton, Silver Creek, Forestville, Westfield, or Ripley.  If in a particular year there are no qualified applicants, a scholarship will not be awarded.
