NCCF Seeks YOUR Footprints Award Nomination

The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) is currently accepting nominations for the George B. Weaver Jr. Footprints Award.  NCCF is looking for submissions that exemplify its mission of enhancing northern Chautauqua County. Take a moment to nominate someone you know, an individual, family or group who creates footprints for others to follow in the community.

Nominees should have a strong history of volunteerism, philanthropic endeavors (financial support not necessarily measured in number of dollars) and activities that have made an impact in the community as well as enhanced the social and cultural climate of the northern Chautauqua community.  Past recipients include George B. Weaver Jr.; Dallas Beal; Robert Maytum; Jim & Carol Boltz; Donald Q. Eno; the founding NCCF Board of Directors & the first elected Board of Directors; Richard S. Johnson; Edwin L. Hamlet; Doug & Ann Manly; Richard Anson; Steve & Helen Baran; Steve & Sue Cobb; Dick & Carmen Gilman; and Wayne, Elaine & Laurel Hotelling.

Return completed nomination forms by March 24, 2017, to NCCF, 212 Lake Shore Drive West, Dunkirk, N.Y. 14048.  The form is available on the NCCF’s website, www.nccfoundation.org, or by calling 716-366-4892.  All community members are encouraged to participate by submitting a name for the committee’s consideration.  It is not a requirement that nominees have an affiliation with the NCCF.

The NCCF, incorporated in 1986, is a tax-exempt charitable organization.  Since its establishment, the NCCF has distributed more than $12.9 million in the community through its various grant programs.  It is an organization inherently committed to enriching the northern Chautauqua community and encouraging local philanthropy.  For more information on the NCCF, visit www.nccfoundation.org or call 716-366-4892.
