NCCF Announces September 1 Grants Deadline

NCCF Announces September 1 Grants Deadline

The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) is accepting “Letters of Interest” from local nonprofits for the fall Community Benefit Grants Program until September 1, 2018, at 4 p.m.

Grant proposals must efficiently and effectively address identified community needs or encourage new opportunities. Letters of Interest should include a brief project description, the estimated number of people impacted by the project, the amount of funding requested and contact information. Letters are not to exceed two (2) pages. Electronic submission via email to eardillo@nccfoundation.org is strongly encouraged. Guidelines are available at www.nccfoundation.org/grants-programs or by contacting the NCCF office at 716-366-4892.

Following the September 1 deadline, the Grants Committee will review the Letters of Interest. Nonprofit projects that are selected by the committee will be asked to submit a full application. Applicants must be IRS designated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.

This program awards grants on a biannual basis for projects that address northern Chautauqua’s current needs and opportunities. This past spring, 15 grants were awarded totaling $44,016.

For more information, please contact Eileen Ardillo, Program Coordinator at 366-4892 or eardillo@nccfoundation.org.
