NCCF LED Hosts Summit on May 22

The Local Economic Development Initiative of the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation will host the 2018 May Summit “Big Picture: Connecting the Puzzle Pieces for Economic Development" on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in the SUNY Fredonia Science Center. Registration begins at 8 a.m.; the program runs from 9 to 11 a.m.

Patrick Whalen, former COO of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, is the featured speaker. He will discuss his history of collaborative successes in the Buffalo-Niagara region, and how we might strengthen our own collective efforts in Northern Chautauqua County. A question and answer period with a panel of experts will follow the presentation.

The Education Coalition bi-monthly meeting is also scheduled in the Science Center that morning. If you plan to attend both meetings, you can register at 7:45 a.m. and attend the Coalition’s meeting from 8 - 8:30 a.m.
