NCCF Encourages Teachers to Apply for a Service Learning Mini-Grant

Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) is now accepting Service Learning Mini-Grants Program applications for the 2021-2022 school year. Local middle and high school teachers are encouraged to apply for projects that combine community service and classroom learning.

This school year, five school districts received ten grants totaling $4,234. Several teachers pulled their applications due to pandemic concerns. This year, the committee will consider applications for remote service learning projects. Classrooms from all disciplines participate in this program: health, music, English, art, trades, and much more.

Applications are available on our website along with the option to apply electronically, www.nccfoundation.org/service-learning. Complete the form and return it to NCCF by March 31, 2021. The committee will announce the awards in June 2021. Visit the website to learn more about the Service Learning Mini-Grant Program. You may also call the office at 716-366-4892 or send an e-mail to nccf@nccfoundation.org.

The NCCF, incorporated in 1986, is a tax-exempt charitable organization.  Since its establishment, the NCCF has distributed more than $17 million in the community through its various grant programs.  It is an organization inherently committed to enriching the northern Chautauqua community and encouraging local philanthropy.  For more information on the NCCF, visit www.nccfoundation.org or call 716-366-4892.
