2025 Fall Community Benefit Grants totaling $111,691 were recently awarded to 17 local
organizations. Organizations approved by the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation’s
(NCCF) Board of Directors to receive this funding include the Chautauqua County Fair, Child
Advocacy Program, CHRIC, Citizens for a Better Cassadaga, FeedMore of WNY, Fredonia
Presbyterian Church, Forestville Elementary School, Girl Scouts of WNY, Greystone Nature
Preserve, Jamestown Community Learning Council, Lake Shore Family Center, Dunkirk-
Fredonia Meals on Wheels, Mental Health Association, Niagara Frontier Radio Reading
Service, North Shore Arts Alliance, Together We Bloom, and Veteran’s One-Stop Center of
WNY.
Awardees were selected after careful review and evaluation of all the letters of interest and
applications received by NCCF’s Grants Committee. Composed of volunteers from the
community and from the NCCF board of directors, current Grants Committee members are
Adam Dimitri, Rose Ann Falcone, Margaret Ferris, Sandra Lewis, Betsy Swanson, Elizabeth
Tytka, and Rachel Foley, NCCF Board President.

Adam Dimitri, Grants Committee Chair, expressed his enthusiasm for those selected to receive
awards saying, “The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation is honored to support the
people and programs that keep our region resilient, inclusive, and full of opportunity.”
A Grants Reception will be held in conjunction with the annual Open-House Community
Foundation Week Celebration at the SUNY Fredonia Center for Innovation & Economic
Development (CIED) on Friday, November 14 th from 11-1 pm.
Community Benefit Grants are awarded on a biannual basis to organizations seeking funds to
improve and strengthen the northern Chautauqua region. The deadline to submit a letter of
interest for the next round of NCCF’s Community Benefit Grants Program funding is March 1,
2026.
The Community Grants Program is made possible through the generosity of the many donors
who have established Community Funds at NCCF. Contributors can achieve ever increasing
impacts in northern Chautauqua County communities through their donations. Lowered
minimum requirements and flexible terms have made establishing a fund at NCCF more
