May is Leave A Legacy Month

During times of uncertainty, the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) encourages our community to focus on what we can build together at home. Planning for the future is one of the most meaningful gifts we can give to the people and places we care about. When you make plans to leave a gift to the NCCF in your will and trust, you are making an investment in the future of our region that will help improve the quality of life for generations to come.

At the NCCF, bequests have helped shape our community for decades. These legacy gifts, large and small, strengthen local programs, support youth, uplift nonprofits, and create permanent resources that will continue to serve northern Chautauqua County for generations.

Why consider a bequest? A bequest allows you to make a lasting impact without affecting your current financial situation. You retain full control of your assets during your lifetime, while knowing that your future gift will support the causes that matter most to you. Many donors find comfort in knowing that their legacy will reflect their values, hopes, and love for their community.

Simple Ways to Leave a Bequest. Creating a legacy is easier than many people realize. You can make a bequest by including NCCF in your will or revocable trust; naming NCCF as a beneficiary of your retirement plan (IRA, 401(k), 403(b), or pension); or designating NCCF as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy. These options allow you to support the community in a way that aligns with your personal and financial goals. No matter which approach you choose, your generosity helps ensure a vibrant future for Northern Chautauqua County.

A Legacy Rooted in Care. Including a charitable gift in your estate plan is an act of hope and care. It reflects your belief in the power of community and your desire to make a difference that endures. NCCF is honored to partner with donors who choose to shape the future in this meaningful way. When you work with our NCCF team and your advisors to establish a bequest, you become part of our Bequest Society, a community of donors shaping the future together. Already have your bequest in place? We would be grateful to know.
