The John J. and Helen Mancuso Scholarship is awarded annually to students with a strong school spirit and appreciation of Dunkirk High School and with plans to major in education with a certification in social studies. If there are no students intending to pursue a career teaching social studies, students planning to major in education or a social science can replace the second requirement. Preference is given to students attending SUNY Fredonia
