About the Fund
The William Bookstaver Scholarship Fund was established through the will of Mabel L. Bookstaver in 1952. Wlliam Bookstaver served as the mayor of Dunkirk between 1888-1890 and 1896-1897. The fund benefits deserving graduates of Dunkirk High School.
