Join the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation’s (NCCF) volunteers and staff on March 21, 2020, for our 8th Annual Applebee’s Flapjack Breakfast and Basket Raffle Fundraiser. The two-hour event begins at 8 a.m. at the Applebee’s on Vineyard Drive in Dunkirk. Tickets are only $6 for flapjacks, bacon, juice, and coffee!

Trades and Manufacturing Technology Scholarship Available

The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) and the Dunkirk Area Labor Council announce that applications for the Dunkirk Area Labor Council Scholarship are due by May 1, 2020. Students currently enrolled in the following schools are eligible: Brocton, Cassadaga, Chautauqua Lake, Dunkirk, Forestville, Fredonia, Pine Valley, Silver Creek, Westfield, and BOCES.

Local School Districts Benefit from Flapjacks

The board, staff, and volunteers at the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation thank everyone who came out on March 23 to our record-breaking Applebee’s Flapjack Breakfast Fundraiser! We successfully raised over $2,400 to support our Service Learning Mini-Grant Program. Grants awarded from this program support middle and high school teachers in all northern Chautauqua County school districts by encouraging them to promote community service in the classroom.

Service Learning Grants Available for Northern Chautauqua County Middle & High School Teachers

The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) reminds graduate level students that the Ruth C. Stacy Counselor Scholarship applications are due February 16, 2019.  Dr. Ruth C. Stacy of Mayville established this scholarship to support graduate level students majoring in either mental health or school counseling.
