Beatrice and Leon Price
Siblings Beatrice and Leon Price, both of Dunkirk, New York, were area educators for many years. The scholarship is offered to high school seniors in northern Chautauqua County who are studying education or a related field.
Application Process
The application below is used for both scholarships.
Interested students should complete the application and submit it to NCCF by May 17th.
Applicants must include: a transcript of grades signed by their guidance counselor, a letter of recommendation by a teacher, school personnel, or an employer, and a list of in and out-of-school activities.
Eligibility
Students must be graduating from one of the following school districts: Brocton, Cassadaga, Chautauqua Lake, Dunkirk, Fredonia, Forestville, Gowanda, Pine Valley, Silver Creek, or Westfield.
Students must be majoring in education or a related field.
Students must be graduating in the top third of their class.
