Jenn Stuczynski Student Athletic Scholarship

It all started when…

The Jenn Stuczynski Student Athletic Scholarship Fund was established at the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation in September of 2009 by the Fredonia Olympic Celebration Committee. This group of Chautauqua County citizens volunteers gathered together to celebrate the athletic achievements of Jenn Stuczynski Suhr.  Jenn, a Fredonia graduate, won the 2008 Olympic Silver Medal for pole vaulting and, in doing so, ignited the pride of our Chautauqua County community.
 
This scholarship is awarded on a rotating basis with Fredonia and Dunkirk High School graduating seniors who have shown outstanding athletic ability, community service, scholastic achievement, leadership ability, and financial need.
