This scholarship was created to support students pursuing a career in teaching children with special needs.
Application Process
Student must meet eligibility requirements.
The completed application should be returned to the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation.
Who is eligible to apply?
Student must intend to pursue a career in the field of teaching exceptional (physically challenged) children.
What are the criteria for selecting the recipients?
Student must reside in northern Chautauqua County
Have financial need
Submit a letter summarizing his/her (1) career goals, (2) why you have chosen the field of teaching exceptional children, and
Submit a letter of support from his/her guidance department; the letter should refer to the student’s moral character and financial need.
